RICHMOND, VA – The Virginia State Women's Cross-Country posted their fourth straight first place finish over three other teams in the Panther Invitational in 5k.
The VSU Women's Cross-Country team earned 15 points with an average time of 20:21.
Manuelene Deigh has been on a different level this season posting her fourth straight first place finish. She finished in a personal best 19:43.1 with a 6:20.7 mile split which placed her first of 27 competitors.
A place away came
Alandina Hyppolite who finished in a time of 20:05.1 with a 6.27.8 which also gave her a new personal best.
Manuela Deigh finished her race in a personal record 20:12.3, with a 6:30.1 mile split which gave her a third place finish.
Shashauna Valentine also earned herself a personal record as she finished in fourth place after posting 20:38.6, with a 6:38.6 mile split.
Ruby Williams finished her race in 21:06.7 with a 6:47.7 mile split which gave her a fifth place finish and a new personal best.
Miracle Price concluded her race in 21:54.8 with a 7:03.1 mile split which placed her in ninth place.
The Trojans Men's and Women's Cross-Country teams will prepare to head to Salem, VA to attempt to take home the 2022 CIAA Cross Country Championship.
