Box Score 1 | Box Score 2 ETTRICK, VA (September 4, 2021)- After an unforeseen canceled 2020 season, the VSU Trojan Volleyball team returned to the court to host the 2021 VSU Opening Invitational. The two-day tournament (Sept. 3-4) features Georgian Court University (GCU) , Salem University (SU), University of Mount Olive (UMO) and the hosting VSU Trojans.

Taking on GCU on Day 1 in game 1 and SU in game 2, the Trojans split the day with 3-1 loss in the first match and bounced back with a 3-1 win to round out the day.

On day 2, VSU face UMO to round out the weekend. The Trojan put up a fight, but fell short in a 3 game sweep.
