ETTRICK,V.A. – Frank Ball has earned the opportunity to travel down to Birmingham, Alabama to participate in the HBCU Combine, April 9-10. The inaugural event will take place at Legion Pavilion on the campus of the University of Alabama - Birmingham and the Hilton Birmingham. The HBCU Combine will be directed by Phillip Blackwell, Regional Director for NFL Regional Combines.  

The two-day event is designed to provide a platform for HBCU draftees, who didn't receive an invitation to the NFL Scouting Combine, to showcase their athleticism and football IQ amongst NFL scouts.

Ball led one of the best Offensive Line units the CIAA had to offer ranking second in the conference in the least amount of sacks allowed (15) and eclipsed 200 yards rushing in 8 of 10 games 2019. The Hampton, Virginia native, was a First team All - CIAA selection in 2018 and a 2019 Preseason All - CIAA selection. He was also apart of the Offensive Line that cleared the way for legendary Running Back, Trenton Cannon in his record breaking season.
