ETTRICK, VA (October 31, 2019)- The VSU Trojans volleyball team is taking a break from conference play to face the Hornets of the University of Lynchburg on Friday, November 1. The first serve is set for 5pm in Lynchburg, VA.
Currently, the Trojans are 13-9 on the season, while the Hornets currently hold a 15-10 overall record going into their final game of the season. Â
CIAA frontrunner, Jailyn Ivey, currently leads the Trojans in kills (236) and in aces (31). VSU's Bria Anderson currently leads the team in assists (425) after competing in 66 sets.
As members of the Old Dominion Athletic Conference, the Lynchburg Hornets are led by Sydney Frink with 312 kills and Erin Farina with 456 assists.
