ETTRICK, VA (October 22, 2019)- The VSU Trojan Volleyball team are set to travel up I-95 to take on the Panthers of Virginia Union University in a CIAA divisional matchup on October 23. The first serve is set for 6pm.

Currently, the Trojans are 11-9 on the season, 8-3 in the conference, while the Panthers currently hold a 7-9 overall record, 7-3 in the conference.

VSU took down VUU early in the season with a 3-0 sweep at the VSU Multipurpose Center on September 30.

CIAA front runner Jailyn Ivey lead currently the Trojans in kills (205) and in aces (27). Junior Bria Anderson currently leads the team in assists (392) after competing in 59 sets.

The Panthers are led by Essence Poteat who leads the team in kills (118). VUU also gets production from A'rmaria Wright who currently leads the Panthers in assists (281).
