FIRST HALF
After a scoreless 1
st quarter for both teams, the Trojans got on the board with an 8 yard run by quarterback
Cordelral Cook for a 7-0 lead over the Bulldogs. The final minutes of the quarter left an opening for BSU to throw a 5 yard touchdown pass to tie the game, 7-all, going into halftime.

SECOND HALF
The second half did not rule completely in the Trojans favor as they battled for the win.
BSU broke the tie with a touchdown pass and field goal to take a 17-7 lead over VSU. The Trojans worked to control the field by close the scoring gap. Minute prior to the end of the 3
rd quarter,
Toure Wallace entered the end zone for a 16 yard run to move the Trojans within score tying range, 17-14.
The 4
th quarter saw early action from BSU as they gained another touchdown pass to take the 24-14 lead the eventually the game.Â
LEADERS
Offensively, Cook was 12-for-25 in pass completions for 134 yards and 2 interceptions. He also rushed for 99 net yards on 19 attempts for a single touchdown, while
Kier Townsend covered 68 yards on 5 receptions.
Defensively,
Zion Johnson led the charge for VSU with 8 total tackles, 4 solo and 4 assisted and 1 tackle for a loss of 3 yards.
