ETTRICK, Va. (April 25, 2018) – The Virginia State University baseball team (25-14-1) will host the Rams of Winston-Salem State University (27-16) in doubleheader action on Saturday, April 28 at Whaley Colbert Field. First pitch is slated for 2 p.m.
Need to Know
This will be the first meeting between the two schools this season. The last time these two met was during the 2017 season where the Rams secured the weekend series victory (7-17, 1-8, 5-13, 0-7) on April 1-2, 2017.
Virginia State (25-14-1) enters the contest coming off a weekend series victory over Lincoln University.
Winston-Salem State University enters the contest (27-16) falling to the University of North Georgia on April 20-22.
All home games are played at Whaley Colbert Field on the campus of Virginia State University.
