ETTRICK, Va. (April 20, 2018) – The Virginia State University baseball team (21-14-1) will host the Lions of Lincoln University (0-21) on April 21-22 in a four game weekend stand at Whaley Colbert Field to close of the regular season. First pitch is slated for 1:00 p.m.

The baseball team will be honoring four seniors during senior day taking place on April 21 between the first and second games.

Need to Know
This is will the first meeting between the two schools this season. The last time the two met was during the 2017 season where the Trojans secured the weekend over the Lions of Lincoln University (1-0, 9-8, 9-10, 7-5).

Virginia State enter the contest coming off a 3-13 loss to Shepherd University on April 17.
 
Lincoln University enters the contest coming off a (1-10, 5-10) loss to Lock Haven University on April 18 in double header action.
 
All home games are played at Whaley Colbert Field on the campus of Virginia State University.
