ETTRICK, Va. -- The Virginia State University (VSU) baseball team will travel to Shepherdstown, West Virginia on Tuesday (April 17) for a contest against Shepherd University in doubleheader action.
 
First pitch is scheduled for 1 p.m. at Fairfax Field. Fairfax Field is located on the campus of Shepherd University at 301 N King Street, Shepherdstown, West Virginia 25443.
 
VSU will enter the game on a winning note after taking the weekend series victory over St. Augustine's University on April 14-15 at home, improving their season record to 21-13-1.

The Rams of Shepherd  University will enter the contest with a weekend series victory over Wheeling Jesuit University (11-2, 12-6, 11-4, 10-2).

The last time the two school met was earlier this season where the Trojans fell 6-10 and 4-8  on February 24-25 but pick up a 8-3 victory in their final contest on the 25th.
