ETTRICK, Va. -- The Virginia State University (VSU) baseball team will travel to Mount Olive, N.C. on Tuesday (Mar. 27) for a contest against the University of Mount Olive Trojans.
 
First pitch is scheduled for 3 p.m. at Scarborough Field. Scarborough Field is located at 581 Henderson Street, Mount Olive, N.C. 28365.
 
VSU will enter the game on a winning note after taking a midweek victory over Stratford University (11-9) on March 19 in Hampton, Va., improving its season record to 13-5-1.

The Trojans of the University of Mount Olive will enter the contest with a weekend series victory over Emmanuel College (17-4, 8-3, 14-2).

The last time the two school met was during the 2017 season where the Trojans of the University of Mount Olive secured a 13-4 victory on March 21.
