Reggie Barlow is excited to get back to work as the Trojans suffered a tough 45-38 loss to the Hawks of Chowan University on Saturday, October 27 at Rogers Stadium.
"Every week's important for us," Barlow said. "We have to take every week as an opportunity to improve as a football team."
The Trojans returned to practice at Rogers Stadium on Tuesday afternoon looking to fix mistakes and begin the focus on this Saturday's opponent, Virginia Union University in Richmond, Virginia.
The Trojans hold a 54-41-6 series record over the Virginia Union University Panthers. The last time the two school faced each other was on November 4, 2017 with a final score of 40-39 in favor of the Trojans. The first game of the series was played in 1902 where the Trojans secured a 12-5 victory on November 22, 1902.
The matchup between the Trojans and the Panthers will be broadcasted, live on WVST 91.3 FM
