Box Score 1 ETTRICK, Va.- The VSU Trojans Baseball team fell short to Shepherd University on Sunday, February 21. The teams were supposed to face off in a double header matchup, but were rained out at the start of game 2.

Sophomore Chris Carter (Ruther Glen, VA) gave the Trojans their only run of the game in the bottom of the 6^th inning. Carter's run also gave rookie Rodney Shell (Dinwiddie, VA) an RBI.

Shepherd brought home 5 runners to give them the 5-1 win.

The Trojans will be back in action on Saturday February 27 and Sunday, February 28 for a 2-Day double header and single game match up against Davis & Elkins.
