Box Score CHARLOTTE, NC- The Virginia State University women's basketball team fell to the Golden Bulls of Johnson C. Smith University on the road with a final score of 65-49.
The loss moves the Trojans to a 2-4 overall record.
VSU shot 23.5 percent (8-34) from the field, 25 percent (3-12) from behind the arc, and 0 percent (0-2) from the line.
Junior 
Kiyana Stokes (Raleigh, NC) led the Trojans with 10 points while senior 
Wynterra Pittman (Graceville, FL) jumped up for 8 rebounds.
The Trojans had a slow run to start the game as the Golden Bulls to a quick double digit lead. VSU went into the locker room trailing 35-14 at halftime. The final two quarters mimicked the first as the Trojans fell short closing the scoring gap. VSU left the court with a final score of 65-49.
VSU Women's Basketball team will travel to Cheyney, PA on Friday, December 11 to take the court against Cheyney University at 6pm.
