Box Score Winston-Salem, N.C.- The VSU women's basketball team suffered a 57-65 loss against the Winston-Salem State University Lady Rams on January 8.

VSU shot 38.1 percent (16-42) from the field, 14.3 percent (1-7) from behind the arc and 68.6 percent (24-35) from the free throw line.

Senior Tiffanie Adair led both teams in scoring with 21 points and tied with the Lady Rams Dionna Scott with 9 rebounds. Senior Jessica Lyons collected 11 points while senior Da'Shae Jones added 10 point for the Trojans.

The Trojans pushed through the game securing many of their points from free throws. Falling short with turnovers and uncovered rebounds cost the Trojans the game.

VSU will take on Livingstone College on Saturday, January 10 at 5:30 p.m. in Salisbury, N.C.
