Baseball Takes a Rescheduled Win over Lincoln

Box Score LINCOLN, PA- The Virginia State University Baseball team took a 4-1 win in a single rescheduled game against the Lincoln University Lions (field name).
 
Junior Nicholas Christopher (Dinwiddie, VA) led the Trojans with two RBI's. Teammates junior Joshua Markins (Colonial Heights, VA) and sophomore Tashaun Taylor (Richmond, VA) followed through with one RBI each.
 
The Lions warmed up, just to cool off in the first inning, receiving their first and only run of the game.
 
Sophomore pitcher Colton Gunn is credited for the win, striking out 10 Lions. Gunn only allowed one error and one walk.
 
The Trojans will be playing their last regular season home game on April 11 against the Apprentice School Builders at 3:00pm before going into the CIAA Championship on April 17.
