Box Score Washington DC- Virginia State University women's basketball team was defeated by the University of District of Columbia on Wednesday evening, with a final score of 88-62.

Senior Tiffanie Adair (Spartanburg, S.C.) led the Trojans securing 16 points and 10 rebounds for the night. Teammates senior Da'Shae Jones (Norfolk, Va.) followed through with 13 points while senior Jessica Lyons (Upper Marlboro, Md.) collected 11 points. Senior DeAnna Waters (Upper Marlboro, Md.) clinched nine points and eight rebounds for the Trojans.

The women will travel to Atlanta, Ga. to take on Miles College on November 22 at 2 p.m. and Clark Atlanta on November 23 at 4 p.m.
