ETTRICK, Va. – After overpowering the Lady Shock of Washington Adventist in a 91-47 season opener, the Virginia State University women's basketball team will travel to Washington, DC on November 19 to take on the University of District of Columba Firebirds. Tip-off is scheduled for 5 p.m. in the Sports Complex Gymnasium.
The Trojans will take the court with seniors 
Da'Shae Jones, 
Cana Marriott and 
Tiffanie Adair; three Trojan veterans who led the team in double digit scoring against the Lady Shock. Junior 
Wynterra Pittman is a Trojan new comer who stepped up in the season opener securing 10 points as well.
