Virginia State (5-0) limited Washington Adventist (2-2) to 29 percent shooting as the Trojans rolled to a 72-44 victory to remain undefeated. The Trojan defense totaled nine steals and five blocked shots in the contest and forced 24 Lady Shock turnovers.

Lamesha Deal scored a team-high 16 points including a perfect 6-of-6 from the line and teammate 
Alexandria Massado connected on 4-of-5 shots from the field.
 
Washington Adventist made just 7-of-30 (.233) shots from the field in the first half as the Trojans built a 33-18 lead at intermission. The lead grew to 27 points midway through the second half as Coach James Hill Jr. gave the reserves playing time.
 
The Trojans return to action on Wednesday, Nov. 20 against Salem International at Daniel Gymnasium on the Virginia State campus. Tipoff is slated for 6:00 p.m.
