Virginia State swept Lincoln (Pa.) 25-14, 25-8 and 25-13 in CIAA volleyball action in Lincoln University, Pa. The win is the fifth in a row for the Trojans who have not dropped a set during the stretch.

Diamond Simpson had 27 assists in the contest while teammates Alexsys Pullen had nine kills and Brianni Small had seven kills for the Trojans. TheTrojans had nine services aces in the victory.

With the victory, Virginia State improves to 13-7 overall and 11-2 in CIAA play. Lincoln (Pa.) drops to 2-15 on the season. The Trojans have won 10 of their last 12 matches.
The Trojans return to action tonight (Tuesday, Oct. 29) against Elizabeth City State at 6:00 p.m. The game has been designated Dig Pink Night to raise breast cancer awareness.
