Box Score The Trojans hit four three-pointers and forced 22 turnovers on the road but the Lady Rams of Winston-Salem State University held on for a 46-42 win on Thursday, Jan. 10^th at the C.E. Gaines Center.

Lamesha Deal led VSU scoring 11 points on 4 of 7 shot attempts from the field. Deal also went a perfect 3 for 3 from the free-throw line as the Trojans shot 67% (8-12). Alexandria Massado added seven points and a game-high eight rebounds.

Virginia State's bench hit four three-pointers in an attempt to keep the Trojans close. Dashae Jones nailed three shots from downtown while Yashica Blakney hit the other one. Dashae Jones led the bench with nine points and a team-high three assists.

VSU drops to 7-7 overall and remain winless in CIAA conference play. The Trojans head to Salisbury, NC on Saturday, Jan. 12^th against Livingstone College at 5:30 p.m.
