Box Score Four Trojans scored in double-figures led by Brianna Holt's (Sr./ Selmer, TN) 15 points, but Brevard combined to hit 11 shots from three-point land for a 74-63 win over Virginia State on Tuesday, Nov. 20^th in Brevard, NC.

The Trojans shot 40% from the field but made only 1-8 three-point attempts in a road loss to Brevard. Virginia State controlled the paint outscoring Brevard 34-26 and also in second chance points 10-7. Brevard forced 23 VSU turnovers and scored 27 points off as a result. VSU allowed Brevard to shoot 42% from downtown nailing 11 of 26 attempts.  

Brianna Holt led the Trojans with 15 points, while Tina Frisby (Jr./ Philadelphia, PA) scored 14 points. VSU's Lamesha Deal (Jr./ Norfolk, VA) recorded her third double-double of the season with 13 points and a game-high 11 rebounds in 33 minutes played. The Trojans' Jasmine Stewart (Sr./ Washington, DC) also scored 13 points from off the bench and Princess Tate-Dublin (So./ Suitland, MD) dished out a team-high three assists.

Brevard had three players score in double-figures led by Micheala Watkins' 24 points.

Virginia State (2-2) will host Georgian Court and Washington Adventist in their next games on Friday and Saturday, November 23-24 in Daniel Gymnasium at the 5^th Annual VSU Chik-Fil-A Classic.
