Charles Amen is an Assistant Women's Soccer Coach dedicated to developing student-athletes both on and off the field. With coaching experience spanning multiple levels of the game, he has built a reputation for player development, leadership, and fostering a positive team culture. Amen has served as a head coach at the club level and has coached at the high school level as both an assistant coach and head coach, helping athletes grow technically, tactically, and personally.
Prior to joining Virginia State University, Amen spent three seasons as an Assistant Coach at Richard Bland College, where he played an integral role in the program's success. During his tenure, the Statesmen captured back-to-back Region 10 Championships, establishing themselves as one of the premier programs in the region.
Now entering his second season with Virginia State University, Amen continues to contribute to the growth and success of the Trojans program. In his first season, he helped the team achieve historic success by winning the CIAA Cup and contributing to a National Championship victory in Pittsburgh. Passionate about the game and committed to excellence, Amen works to help student-athletes reach their full potential while supporting the program's competitive, academic, and personal development goals.
