Bryce Sine is entering his second year as Assistant Athletic Director for Strategic Communications at Virginia State. He is responsible for keeping statistics for all varsity sports, updating record books and writing recaps and previews for all varsity sports.
Last year Sine oversaw all 20 varsity sports. He oversaw the VSU softball team becoming the CIAA Northern Division Champions. He also was a member of the NCBWA Atlantic Region Baseball committee which is responsible for voting on the top-10 each week, voting for player of the weeks and All-Americans. In the CIAA he is a member of the Volleyball, Tennis and Outdoor Trach Committees.
Sine was last at Denison University, where he was Assistant Sports Information Director. At Denison he was responsible for helping cover all 27 varsity sports, including help cover the NCAC swim and dive conference championship, NCAA Men's lacrosse second and third round games and the NCAC Granville Regional. While at Denison he expanded his knowledge by learning NLS Genuis sports and prestosports. He was also responsible for helping create graphics through Adobe Indesign and Adobe Photoshop.
While he was a student at West Virginia State University he volunteered in the Sports Information Department, which began his career in the field. While a student assistant he learned how to use stat crew programs and the day to day operations of a Sports Information Director. He graduated from WVSU with a Bachelor of Science in Sports Studies.
Bryce is originally from St. Albans, West Virginia and currently lives in Prince George, Virginia.
