The 2025 season will mark the third year for Coach Frasier Brickhouse on the sideline for the Virginia State University Women’s Soccer Team and the second for the Men’s Soccer Team. He has over 18 years of playing experience and 8 years of coaching at the high school, collegiate, and club levels.
Brickhouse has been instrumental in the early success of VSU’s soccer programs. He helped launch two inaugural teams, guiding them to two victories in their first seasons. His responsibilities at VSU include analyzing game film, preparing opponent tactics, conducting recruiting visits, and managing recruitment calls. Under the mentorship of Head Coach Bob Jenkins, a former member of the US National Team Staff, as well as UVA and American University, Brickhouse has developed a keen understanding of how to prepare and coach at a high level.
He spent five years as the Head Boys’ Soccer Coach at Matoaca High School, where he compiled a 40-28-8 overall record. In his final season, he led the Warriors to the first district championship in school history and coached multiple all-region players.
Brickhouse also coached with the Richmond Strikers for eight years, working with teams from the U11 through U19 levels. During his time there, nine of his players advanced to continue their soccer and academic careers in college.
He graduated from Lynchburg College in 2017 with a bachelor’s degree and later earned a master’s degree in Sport Management from Liberty University in 2022. He currently holds a US Soccer Federation “C” Coaching License.
