Jeremy Watkins will start his first season as the defensive line coach in the 2021 season. 

Jeremy Watkins began the inaugural season of spring football as the defensive line coach at Alderson Broaddus in 2019. Coach Watkins had two defensive linemen make the all conference and all-freshman team. 

Prior to AB, Coach Watkins coached 10 years of high school football in the state of Alabama. Coach Watkins recently served as defensive coordinator and defensive line coach at Jeff Davis High School in Montgomery, AL. Watkins brings a wealth of experience coaching defensive line, in which he had multiple Division 1 and also Division 2 signees. 

Watkins earned his B.S. degree in Physical Education from Alabama State University, where he played football 2002-2004. 

At ASU, Coach Watkins won the 2003 Southwestern Athletic Conference East Division and also won the Southwestern Athletic Conference Championship in 2004. Watkins went on to letter twice at ASU.

Coach Watkins is a native of Los Angeles, CA and is married to DaShonda and son Weston. Coach Watkins is a proud member of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity Inc.
