Christian Parker returns to the Trojan Football coaching staff as the new Defensive Backs Coach. Parker coached the cornerbacks as the defensive Graduate Assistant for the 2013 Trojan football season and had a first team all-conference performer under his wing.
Parker coached the cornerbacks as the defensive graduate assistant for the Trojans during the 2013 season. Along with having first team all-conference player Sean Smith under his wing, Parkers leadership led to the 21 turnovers in 10 games for the Trojans defense in 2013. Parker helped lead the team to a 9-1 overall, 7-0 conference record. The Trojans were the 2013 CIAA Northern Division Champions.
A native of Glen Allen, VA, Parker is a 2013 graduate of the University of Richmond with a degree in Political Science. He was a backup wide receiver and cornerback for the Richmond Spider where he was a member of the 2009 and 2012 CAA Conference Championship teams.
Parker also ran track, and was a member of the first-place 4x100m relay team at the 2011 JMU Invitational, and competed at the 2011 outdoor and 2012 indoor Atlantic-10 conference meets.
Parker currently resides in Petersburg, VA and is a member of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity Inc.
