Andrew King enters his third season as the Trojans Tight Ends Coach.

Prior to arriving to VSU, Coach King returned to his high school alma mater, Monrovia High School in California, as the Offensive Line Coach and assistant Offensive Coordinator. After 3 season and 3 Rio Hondo State Championships he applied the experience he gained as an Assistant Recruiter at Hampton University and became the Head JV Coach at Warwick High School in Newport News, Virginia. After his stent at Warwick Coach King became the Offensive Coordinator and Assistant Head Coach at Menchville High School.

Andrew led the Menchville Monarchs for 4 years helping the Monarchs improve to new program heights every year with his game plans and being a positive role model. Coach King holds a Bachelor’s of Arts degree from Hampton University. He is seeking a Master’s of Science in Sport Management at Virginia State University.
