ETTRICK, VA (Sept. 6, 2025) – Virginia State Men's Soccer put forth a strong effort but came up short in a 5-1 loss to the Jefferson Rams on Saturday at Rogers Stadium.
The Trojans generated several scoring opportunities throughout the match and broke through in the second half when
Sebastine Daniel netted his first goal of the season. Despite the continued pressure from VSU, Jefferson capitalized on its chances and held on for the win.
With the result, the Trojans move to 0-1 on the season and will return to action on September 10 when they travel to face Chowan University.
