Ettrick, Va. (Jun. 17, 2025)-Preston Branzelle of the Virginia State University Baseball team has been named to the second team for the VaSID All State team. 

Branzelle pitched 72.1 innings this season with a 6.10 ERA and a 1.78 WHIP. He threw five complete games including a complete game shutout against Lighthouse Christian College on April 15. Branzelle struck out 53 batters and won the most games on the team with five.
