Virginia State Women's Tennis Team Faces Tough Defeat Against Hampton
 

On April 9, 2025, the Virginia State University women's tennis team competed against Hampton University in Hampton, VA. Despite their efforts, VSU faced a strong Hampton team, who won all matches in both doubles and singles. The match showcased the skill and sportsmanship of both teams.

Burrows, Alexcie vs. Melis Sakiroglu: 0-6, 0-6

The women's team competed hard, but Hampton showed why they are one of the top program in the Division 1 Big South Conference.

The Women's tennis will go against the Vikings of Elizabeth City State University on Saturday, April 12, 2025, at 1pm.
