Ettrick, Va (Oct. 1, 2025) — Head Women's Basketball Coach Millette Green has announced her inaugural schedule for the Virginia State Women's Basketball team. 

The Trojans open their campaign on November 9 with an exhibition game against Division I opponent Norfolk State. The regular season starts with back-to-back home games against West Virginia State and Indiana University of Pennsylvania on November 15 and 16 respectfully. The Trojans then hit the road for away games at the University of Charleston and University of District of Columbia. The Trojans then return home to host a second tournament this time playing Lander University and Shaw on November 29 and November 30. 

"I'm excited to share our upcoming schedule for the season," said Head Coach Millette Green. "Our non-conference matchups are designed to challenge us and prepare our team to compete at a high level in what will be a very competitive league, as well as in the postseason tournament. We are fortunate to have a strong slate of home games, and our goal is to defend our home court and find ways to win on the road. We look forward to seeing you in the stands!" 

The conference slate begins with three home games against Fayetteville State (Dec. 11), Claflin (Dec. 13) and Shaw (Dec. 16). West Virginia State will return to the MPC for a game before Christmas break on December 20. The conference slate heats up after the new year with four straight away games, before a quick home game against Bowie State on January 21. Senior day will be on February 21 against Virginia Union on HBCU Go. 

The Trojans will play 13 home games at the VSU Multipurpose Center, giving fans plenty of opportunities to support the squad in person.
