Ettrick, Va (May 11, 2024)- Virginia State Athletic teams will be sending 48 student-athletes across the stage at spring commencement. Football has 10 graduating seniors, Men's Basketball and Track & Field both have seven, Baseball with six, Cheer, Volleyball and Softball all with four, Bowling with two and both Women's Tennis and Men's Lacrosse have one.  

27 different student athletes will be graduating with a 3.0 or better with one graduating with a perfect 4.0. Four baseball, football, volleyball, softball and track athletes have a 3.0 GPA or better. 

Alexis McNair is the only student athlete that will be graduating with a 4.0. McNair was the volleyball captain and was also the Student Athlete Advisory Council president.
