Lincoln, Pa.(Feb. 10, 2024)- The Virginia State women's basketball team used a first and fourth quarter 20 piece to win over Lincoln University 70-61. The Trojans only allowed one three pointer forcing the Lions to shoot 1-11 from three-point land.

The lions held an early 7-6 lead in the first quarter before the Trojans went on a 22-4 run from the 6:54 to 2:19 mark. During the run six different VSU players scored to help make the score 26-11. While the Lions ended the first quater scoring six of eight points, with Mekayla Furman scoring the two for the Trojans, the score still favored the Trojans 28-17.
