ETTRICK, VA- Tahraun Hammond, Joseph Hastings, and Jody Morris of VSU Baseball will play for the Tri-City Chili Peppers of the Coastal Plain League this Summer.

Hammond was named the New South Athletic Conference Player of the Year this season. He is returning for his second season with the Chili Peppers.

Morris will be a sophomore this Fall, Hammond and Hastings will be juniors. 

Summer league play creates a great opportunity for the student-athletes to develop their game, compete against players from all over the east coast, and gain exposure. 

The Tri-City Chili Peppers will play the 2023 season at Shepherd Stadium in Colonial Heights, VA. Their opening night is scheduled for Thursday against the Holy Springs Salamanders at 7 PM.
