Vincent Greene Promoted to Assistant Athletic Director for Business Operations

ETTRICK, VA - Associate Vice President for Intercollegiate Athletics, Peggy Davis, is pleased to announce the promotion of Vincent Greene, who will serve as the Assistant Athletics Director for Business Operations.

Greene was hired onto the staff during the COVID-19 pandemic which means he joined to the Trojan Family in an unconventional time. While thoroughly completing all of his respective duties as the Director of Business Operations, he served as the Head Coach of the VSU Women's Bowling team in the 2021-2022 season. Continuing to go above and beyond his job responsibilities, Greene also lent his services to the men's and women's tennis teams as their van driver as needed.

Greene began working in athletics at VCU in 2012 as Facilities and Events Intern/Assistant (assisting with overall facility management, game operations, & set-up/breakdowns/changeovers for events). He was then promoted to Senior Facilities Assistant in 2015 (managed all Facility and Event Management business operations, Game Operations Manager for Field Hockey and Women's Lacrosse).

In 2017, Greene was named VCU's Athletics Facilities Business Manager (managed all Facility and Event Management business operations, assisted in overseeing daily operations and maintenance for all athletic facilities, department liaison with University Procurement Services and Facilities Management, managed logistical operations for youth camps).

Greene took brief (1 year) stint at VCUarts as Accountant in 2019 (administer accounting, finance, and budget support for the School's programs).

A Richmond, VA native, Greene is a two time VCU graduate (Bachelors - Business Administration & Management; Masters - Sport Leadership).
