ETTRICK, VA- The Virginia State University Athletics Department, in conjunction with the VSU Athletic Hall and Wall of Fame Committee, announces their newest class in the highly anticipated Hall and Wall of Fame Class of 2022 Inductees.

The following nine (9) six loyal sons and daughter will join a group of over 200 VSU Athletic Hall and Wall of Famers:
   
Selected by the committee this year, but will be honored with the 2023 Hall of Fame Class is Lawrence "Trey" Mines, III for his contributions on the court for men's basketball.

Three years since the last class was inducted, the Trojans are eager to honor the Class of 2022 for their outstanding accomplishments and dedication to Virginia State University Athletics on Friday, May 20, 2022. Cocktails and Hors d'oeuvres at 6pm and the dinner and induction ceremony starting at 7:00 p.m. at the Gateway Dining and Event Center on the campus of VSU.

Tickets are on sale now for the banquet and induction ceremony. Tickets are $50 each. To purchase tickets for the 2022 VSU Athletics Hall and Wall of Fame Induction Ceremony call 804-524-5031. Tickets for the ceremony must be purchased by May 19 and will not be sold at the door the day of the event.

Guest who are attending the event for a specific inductee should provide this information at the time tickets are purchased.  Seating request are not guaranteed, but will be accommodate when possible.
The 2022 Hall and Wall of Fame class will be recognized in Rogers Stadium when the Trojans take on Bluefield State College on September 10, 2022.
