Trojans Fall 7-0 to UVA-Wise in Final Home Match

ETTRICK, VA – The Virginia State University men's tennis team dropped their final home match of the season to UVA-Wise 7-0. Nigel Stewart and Laurance Britt pushed their doubles match to an extra set but lost 7-5. Laurance Britt made a great amount of athletic plays in his singles match but fell 7-6, 7-5 on the second court. Jalen Bell found heat in his second set but the flame ran out in the tiebreak set as he lost 6-2, 6-2, 10-3 on the third court. Joshua Pologne was a few points away from victory against his 6'6 opponent but fell short 6-3,6-3, 10-5 on the fifth court.
