LINCOLN, PA (February 23, 2019)- The Virginia State University women's basketball team were led by senior Chrisanna Green in the team's regular season finale against the Lions on Lincoln University. Despite Green's double-double (16 points, 14 rebounds), the Trojans fell short of a victory against Lincoln with a final score of 66-54.

GAME OVERVIEW
During the first half, VSU worked to close the scoring gap as they battled to take the lead. Despite their efforts, the Trojans trailed by 9 points, 33-22, going into halftime.
VSU worked collectively to get back in the game securing more rebounds and adding more points to the board. At the end of regulation, the Trojans were not able to take the victory, falling short with a final score of 66-54.
GAME LEADERS
Chrisanna Green led the charge for the Trojans with 16 points and 14 rebounds while Kwanza Murry collected 31 points for the Lions.
