Box Score 2 BOWIE, Md. – The Virginia State University women's tennis team secured two victories over host Bowie State University (9-0) on the road on Monday afternoon. The Trojans improve to 8-3 overall record, 4-2 in the CIAA and 3-0 in the North while the Bulldogs now moves to 2-7 overall, 1-6 in conference play and 0-3 in the CIAA North.
The Virginia State University dominated the court against Bowie State Bulldogs, collecting 8-0 victories in all six singles matches and 8-0 in the doubles of match one.
Virginia State remained consistent on the court returning for match two. The Trojans collected (8-0, 8-1) victories in all six singles matches and 8-0 in the doubles matches.
Virginia State will return to action on Friday, April 5 as they host Winston-Salem State University. The first serve is scheduled for 1 p.m. at the VSU Tennis Complex.
