ETTRICK, VA – The Virginia State University women's tennis team will compete in the 2017 Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association Women's Tennis Championship that will take place on April 19
th -22
nd on the campus of Bowie State University.
The Trojans finished the season with a (14-4, 10-3 CIAA,) overall record. VSU is currently seeded in the number two spot falling behind Chowan University in the Northern division wrapping up with a 6-1 divisional record.
VSU will open things up against the Lady Panthers of Virginia Union University (6-10, 4-6) on Thursday, April 20
at 1:30 p.m.
Semifinal matches will take place on Friday, April 21 with the championship match to be contested on Saturday, April 22.
Admission is free and is open to the public.
