Trojans Fall to Chowan University, 9-0 In Season Finale

Virginia State University finish regular season 8-6 overall

Murfreesboro, NC – The Virginia State University men's tennis team yielded a 9-0 decision in conference division play to Chowan University this afternoon.
 
With the outcome, the Trojans are now 8-6 overall. Meanwhile, the Hawks of Chowan improve to 13-7 overall.
 
"Despite the loss today our guys had a good season." said VSU head coach Gene Thompson. "Chowan is a tough opponent and have been playing well all season. I am proud of our guys' effort because they had to really pull together and compete hard. It was a great day for us. We are looking forward to getting back to work and focusing on next season"
