MURFREEBORO, NC- The Virginia State University women's tennis team fell to the Shaw University Bears in a makeup match on April 3.

The Trojans had a tough time attempting to take down the defending CIAA Champions, with a final score of 7-0.

The loss moves the Trojans to a 6-2 overall record.

VSU will travel to Bowie, MD to take on the Lady Bulldogs of Bowie State University on April 9. The first serve is set for 12pm.
