ETTRICK, Va.- The Trojans baseball team will move into post season play on April 30-May 2 for the 2015 CIAA Baseball Championship in Cary, NC. No. 3 seed VSU will take on the No. 2 seed Chowan University Hawks on April 30 at 11 a.m. at the USA Baseball National Training Complex.

VSU completed their regular season play with a 23-16 overall record, 8-8 in the conference, while the Hawk were 20-18 on the season and 9-7 in the conference.

The Trojans previously took on the Hawks on March 21-22 for a two day conference doubleheader at the Whaley Colbert Baseball Field. VSU had a 1-3 record (3-6, 5-3, 6-7, 3-10) for the weekend matchup.

The winner of the round 1 contest will go up against Winston-Salem State University or St. Augustine's University on Friday, May 1 at 1 p.m.
