This will be the first meeting between the institutions and VSU's Military Appreciation game.

The Trojans (0-1) suffered a 33-24 loss to the Vulcans of California University of Pennsylvania on last Saturday in Adamson Stadium. Sophomore quarterback
Tarian Ayres led the Trojans offensively, passing for 325 yards with two touchdowns; while junior Javion Smallwood added 116 yards on five receptions in the effort.

Defensively, senior Andre Smallwood accounted for eight tackles, an interception, and two tackles for a loss including a sack. Junior
Tyrell Smith led the team in tackles with 10, while junior
Darion Thomas registered nine tackles.

LRU (1-0) defeated Point, 41-10 last weekend in its home opener at Moretz Stadium. Chris Robinson lead the Bears in rushing yards with 93, while the team had only attempted eight pass plays so far on the season. Â Â
