ETTRICK, VA- The Virginia State University men's tennis team took on the Shaw University Bears on April 18 in the CIAA Tennis Semifinal Tournament. The Trojans where defeated 5-0 by the Bears, eliminating them from the finals.

The Trojans finished the year with a post season record of 8-8 overall, 5-6 conference.
