ETTRICK, VA – The Virginia State University women's tennis team earned a 9-0 CIAA Northern Division win over Elizabeth City State on Monday afternoon. The Trojans improve to 12-2 on the year and 9-2 in CIAA play with the win while the Lady Vikings fall to 0-7 on the season and 0-5 in CIAA play.

All of the Trojans earned a victory in doubles and singles play. Brittany Uzzell and Zaire Simmons won their 12^th doubles match of the season in the number one spot as Nakesha Harry and Kayla Kale notched their 10^th win. While Sharmane Tonkins and Jessica Smith teamed up for an 8-0 victory clinch their 8^th win on the season .

n singles play, the Virginia State Trojans went a perfect 12-0 to dismantle the Lady Vikings as each player earned 8-0 victories over their opponents.

The Trojans return to action on April 3^rd when they travel to Bowie State for a CIAA Northern Division match-up. First serve slated for 3:00 pm.
