MURFREESBORO, NC- It was a rough day for Virginia State University men's tennis team as they fell to the Hawks of Chowan University with a score of 8-1. The Trojans record is currently 3-3 overall, 1-3 conference.
The Hawks swept the doubles competition with scores of 8-5, 8-5, and 8-1. 
During the singles competition, the Hawks dominated the Trojans with a score of 5-1. 
Nicholas Pfab gave the Trojans their only victory with a score of 6-4 and 6-1. 
The Trojans continue their season on March 23 as they take on the Panthers of Virginia Union University for conference play in Richmond, VA.
