The 2023-24 season will mark Thomas Gosier's second season as Head Bowling Coach at Virginia State after completing his inaugural season as Interim Head Bowling Coach in 2022-23.
Prior to being named Interim Head Bowling Coach, Coach Gosier was an assistant track & field coach at Virginia State, specializing in jumps and multi. Coach Gosier served in that capacity from July 2016 to 2022 and he was part of five CIAA Track & Field Conference Championships with the Trojans, including four in indoor track & field, and he has coached three All-American high jumpers, one All-American in the long/triple jump, and one All-American in the 60-meter hurdles.
