Edinboro, PA—The Virginia State women's basketball team traveled to Edinboro, Pennsylvania, to take on the Fighting Scots of Edinboro University of PA. The match-up occurred on Friday, March 14, 2025, at 5 p.m., but ultimately, the game ended in favor of the Scots.

The game kicked off with a bang as Ashten Boggs of Edinboro showcased her skills, weaving through defenders to score multiple layups that set the tone for an explosive start. Not to be outdone, Morgan Gentile stepped up with vital assists and tenacious defense that kept the momentum flowing. Virginia State's Anii Harris fought hard to keep her team in the mix, sinking critical layups and free throws. Meanwhile, Amesha Miller was a defensive dynamo, racking up impressive steals and blocks. Gabby McDuffie sealed her contribution with some clutch free throws, while Hayley Sims added to Edinboro's scoring with a smooth jumper.
