ETTRICK, Va.- The Virginia State University women's tennis team, under the leadership of head coach Linda Person, signs Felicia Tucker for the 2017 season.
Tucker is a native of Newport News, VA but attends Smithfield High School in Carrollton, Virginia. A scholar-athlete, maintaining over a 3.4 GPA throughout her high school career, Tucker will be graduating in the top 3 percent of her class.
Extending her knowledge to the courts, Tucker played as the number 1 seed for singles and doubles for the 2015-2016 school year. She also represented her team and District during conference play.
Tucker will also being her community service background to the Land of Troy as she will be receiving a seal on her advanced diploma for her volunteer work in the community.
"I am looking forward to having Felicia Tucker join the ladies on our Trojans tennis squad," said Coach Person. "Her quickness and ability to anticipate plays has been a strong asset to her tennis game."
